Soil is a mixture of loam and clay loam, red and yellow chert, and serpentine. Located at the eastern-most point of Santa Ynez, this AVA is 15 degrees warmer during the day and cool at night from the ocean breezes coming over the mountains, allowing this unique microclimate to beautifully ripen these bordeaux varietals.
Grapefruit, Kaffir lime, lemon, bright citrus with lovely floral notes and flowering thyme. Crisp acidity, hints of tropical fruit and tangerine oil with a spectacular, long, clean finish.
A great pairing with grilled fish and stone fruit salad. 100% stainless steel. Aged on the lees. Fresh, vibrant, lots of acidity. Lower in alcohol. Super Food Friendly.
